Center is nestled in suburban Louisville, one block from Route
62. Owned by the Diocese of Youngstown and operated by the
Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Mark, this Catholic facility does not
discriminate against race, color, ancestry, national origin, age, sex

The
ultimate goal of St. Joseph Care Center is to provide older adults with
opportunities for an optimum level of health and holistic life
experiences. Toward that end, the goal of each discipline
contributing to the four levels of care provided on campus (nursing
home, assisted residence, independent living and Memory Support) is
to assist individuals to reach and maintain the highest level of
function mentally, physically, socially, psychologically and
spiritually.

St.
Joseph Care
Center has added 29 new apartments to its current Assisted Living
Facility! Twenty-eight of these units are one-bedroom apartments
with approximately 540 square feet of living space. There is also
one two-bedroom apartment of more than 800 square feet. The
primary goal of the new Assisted Living extension is to continue the
same quality care and personal assistance that residents have come to
expect from St. Joseph Care Center. The secondary goal is to
offer larger room layouts to accommodate couples (and individuals who
desire more space).
Residents live comfortably in private 1 or 2 bedroom
apartments or private studio units each equipped with a refrigerator,
kitchenette area and private handicap-accessible bathroom.

St. Joseph Assisted Residence assists individuals to maintain

with family, friends, and members of the community. For those
with medical problems a Registered Nurse is available 24 hours per
day.

Memory Support 1882 Knob St.
New
for 2008!
St. Joseph Care Center has converted
20 of its existing Assisted
studio units into 18 new Memory Support apartments.
The purpose of the
Memory Support is to enhance the lives of those with Alzheimer's or
other
forms of memory loss. Great care has been taken to ensure that
staff, specially trained in memory support, receive ongoing
training in Alzheimer's disease to provide to provide
holistic, personalized care. Modeling up-to-date treatment
techniques, programming encourages memory-impaired residents to
live to their fullest potential.
Special attention has been given to the
interior design to provide, in a controlled environment, colors and
lighting that are soothing to residents with memory loss.

renovated in 2002, St. Joseph Nursing Home is a 100 bed,
Medicare/Medicaid certified facility licensed by the State of
Ohio. This non-profit nursing home has a rich tradition and a
highly recognized reputation of excellence in providing compassionate,
quality services. A progressive expansion of services reflects
the goal of meeting people's needs.
